Cancellation and Deposit Policies
To reserve your appointment, a deposit is required. Deposits are fully refundable within 24 hours of the original payment, and within 12 hours for special-order items. After these timeframes, deposits become nonrefundable, as materials and products may have already been ordered on your behalf.
If you choose to cancel your upgrades or appointment after the applicable refund period, your deposit will be converted into a store credit that may be applied toward any of our future services. If you cancel within the eligible refund window, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–7 business days for the refund to be processed and reflected in your account.
Custom Order Items
Deposits for special-order items become nonrefundable 12 hours after the initial deposit is received. Special-order items include, but are not limited to, seat upgrades, custom electronic sunshades, vinyl wrap material, paint protection film (PPF), and any other products we consider special orders.
If you choose to cancel your upgrades after the 12-hour period, no refunds or store credits will be issued. To ensure your materials arrive in time for your appointment, we begin processing and placing orders with our suppliers shortly after your deposit is received.
This policy reflects the nonrefundable nature of special-order items established by our suppliers and helps ensure timely fulfillment of your custom project.
Appointment/No Show Policy
Appointment Cancellations/Rescheduling
We understand that unexpected situations can arise. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled appointment time. Cancellations or rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a $99 fee, which will be added to your final invoice.
No Shows/Missed Appointments
You will be considered a no-show if you do not arrive for your scheduled appointment or if you are more than 30 minutes late. In the event of a late arrival, we may not be able to accommodate your appointment due to other scheduled clients.
If you miss your appointment, please contact us within 72 hours to reschedule. Our team will also attempt to reach out within this timeframe to assist you with booking a new appointment. Please be advised that a $99 fee will be applied to your final invoice.
If we do not hear from you within 72 hours of the missed appointment, your upgrade order will be considered canceled, and your initial deposit will be forfeited. In this case, no refunds or store credits will be issued.
Product Warranty
We warrant installed products to be free from defects in workmanship and materials under normal use and conditions for a period of one (1) year from the original installation date. Distinct EV’s dba Distinct Teslas agrees, at its option during the warranty period, to repair any defect in material or workmanship or to furnish and install a new product of equal value without charge. Such repair or replacement is subject to verification of the defect or malfunction. Distinct EV’s dba Distinct Teslas does NOT warranty products that have signs of physical damage (cracked screen, broken pieces, water damage, dings, etc..) Any product that is modified, tampered with, adjusted, repaired, or damaged due to improper use. Any cosmetic damage to the surface or exterior that has been defaced or caused by normal wear and tear or exposure to foreign chemicals, water, or prolonged sun exposure. We do not warranty customer-supplied parts; any warranty claims on customer-supplied parts must be directed to the original manufacturer or company the parts were purchased from.
Refund Policy on Installed Parts or Services Rendered
There will be no refunds on installed parts or services provided. When you pick up your vehicle, you’ll have the opportunity to inspect and confirm that all upgrades were installed properly and in working order. The customer will be assumed to have acknowledged that all services provided by Distinct Teslas were provided as agreed upon and described and to have accepted the services unconditionally. Should any issues arise after pickup, we will attempt to repair or replace any parts that are still under warranty (see warranty policy above)
