When you walk up to your Tesla, your driver’s door will auto-present. It’s like having a valet standing by your door at all times. Just walk up, sit in your seat, tap the brake pedal, and the door closes! This is perfect for those days when your hands are full or you have a clean car and you don’t want finger prints on your doors and handles. Our system can be programmed to be fully touchless for the driver, or you can utilize the app, center display, door panel button or key card to activate the auto door functions.

Imagine picking up a friend and as they approach the passenger door, you tap a button and the door opens for them. This takes your Tesla to a whole other level! Rolls-Royce is the only other manufacturer that offers something similar, but their system isn’t as robust as ours and costs 10 times more. 8 WAYS TO ACTIVATE THE AUTO DOORS… 

  1. Use the Tesla Mobile App to open the door
  2. Use your key card to open and close the door
  3. Gently press the handle to open and close the door
  4. Press the door panel button to open and close the door
  5. Use your optional key fob to open and close the door (or program it to open when detected)
  6. Gently push the door in to close it automatically
  7. Push the brake to close the door
  8. Push the added button to open or close the driver or passenger door

The door can be programmed to open as far as you want when you push the open button or an optional radar can be installed to detect any obstructions (people, other cars…etc) and stop the door from opening too far.
